Lightbulb VXR Cams - General Question

    Hi All,

I just installed the VXR cams on my 2014 FX SVHO with a stock wheel and listed upgrades.

The mechanic I go to said it would be a good upgrade as he had a friend that was selling them. I just got back from the shop and was wondering if this was a smart thing to do. What should I expect from it? Better reliability? More performance? What should I consider next?

Sorry for the noob question, just working with internals is not at my level yet.

    Exhaust
    WORX cooling kit
    Ribbon delete
    Titanium Retainers
    2016+ Timing chain upgrade

I would save the labor $$ and just do a SC wheel or IC upgrade. I am sure your mechanic would like the extra $$. But you can spend less and get more performance with other mods.

Labor was free. He was upgrading the timing chain to the 2016 model. While he was there I thought I would do it.

More acceleration on the SVHO and slightly more top speed on the SHO.It shifts the powerband higher so if your only revving 8600 its not really taking full advantage IMO

Can you point it out in the RIVA library? https://rivaracing.com/tunelibrary
