How to identify a genuine Solas impeller versus counterfeit impeller?

    Are there visual clues?

Is the box/packaging/instructions different in some noticeable ways?

I know of someone that bought a Solas prop for his stage 2 rxpx 300 that was purchased directly from Riva that was never bent/touched and it broke a few weeks ago and caused damage to the ski. Solas nor is Riva covering the damages.

Just for clarification... Are Riva and Solas refusing to cover the damage to the ski and the prop, or just the ski? I can kind of understand them not covering the damage to the ski, but at a minimum I would hope they would offer a replacement prop or refund the roughly $300 your friend spent on the prop.

There seems to be so much conflicting information about Solas props and their warranty right now. I wonder what the difference is between these situations? Disappointing to hear either way.

They will cover the cost of the prop, just not the damage to the ski.

If you were ever to have an issue with a real Solas impeller they stand behind their product and give free replacements and cover any damages.

theres an issue with fake Chinese copy solas impellers breaking. Beware who you buy from. The GreenHulk Store only sells genuine Solas impellers.

i have never had a Solas break on any of my high power skis.
so which is it Jerry said they will cove any damages but your saying they wont cover the damage to the ski from the solas prop...

Most warranties say they won’t cover consequential loss
    So will cover impeller only
If you get covered for liner replacement you are lucky
