RaceLab vs KawiPerformance ECU tune for 08 250x

Hi, I'm looking to get an ECU upgrade for my 2008 Ultra 250x, I have the Riva intake, breather, and exhaust kit, and plan to get the waterbox, solas 16/21 prop, kawi pump upgrade, and bov blockoff. What's the better tune to buy? The Kawi or RaceLabs? I haven't seen many comparisons between the two and I'm looking more for top speed than acceleration.

Advance the timing on the unit.....there is a post on here showing you step by step exactly how to do it.

    Works really well....

Will it jeopardize any of my stock internals?

i'd do the pump upgrade before anything else.... if you havent done it yet, you are on borrowed time as it is.

Most modifications have an effect in a negative way
As for whos better out of those 2 ... good luck ,
Kawi performance is only a reseller of other people stuff....typically you can get the same stuff from the actual manufacturer cheaper due to no middle man.... and easier to sort warranty claims our
race labs .... NFI looks like its a country farm location lol
Id ask who ever you might use....
what do THEY modify in the tune exactly, and when it doesn't produce the $$ value they charged , can they revert it stock and give you full refund.

Historically the 6 degrees timing mod is the best bang for you buck. $50. ( but ski is 100% premium fuel then)
But in saying that I've seen heaps of SO CALLED PROS stuff that up too and cost people an engine..
Being that it's a 250x ... I'd leave it alone and save up for a 300> .... but in the mean time as mentioned ensure you have a 300 style pump upgrade....
