BEACH House sponson mod

Wat up. So a little bit back i posted about this but figured id start a post new. I found some BH sponsons for an unknown ski config on ebay, but at the price point couldnt pass it up. The bolt pattern was workable for a ‘04 15F. Ive got one side fabbed and ready for new hardware, and im psyched for spring/summer! Heres some pics.

No biggie with some clamps and a steady hand! Ill follow up later this week when i get em both done and mounted.

Thanks! My only concern is they may snap/break. Was thinking of making a template before i mount em, and if they do break , id take the template to a plastic shop.

This got me thinking. There really isnt much to a sponson. What are the dimensions or shape of the beach house sponsons vs the stock ones? I have some machinist fabricator friends that make just about anything. Using plastic, 3d printing, or other methods if I had the best dimensions I could possibly get something made custom. Just not sure on what is best only having stock sponsons now.

There really isnt much to them. And at $100 i couldnt pass them up. Ill post some pics with a tape of the beachhouse and stock. But. I will say. I have read and seen the mount part, not the sponson part, made custom and made thicker. Giving you two advantages. Its stronger, and you are cantelever-ing the sponson further out. I gotta imagine that gives MUCH more cutting and control.
