    Cleaning intercooler fins

How can I clean the cooling fins in air exchange portion of the intercooler? It was used for 3 seasons without a catch can and the fins have oil and gunk on them that I uncovered while doing winter maintenance

Acetone works wonders on intercoolers and leaves no residue

I usually start with dish soap to get rid of the majority of the junk.
