Swing tongue on triton elite 2 place trailer

I just purchased a triton elite 2 place trailer and want to know if anyone has installed a swing tongue on one. I know it says they are not for aluminum tongues but if you sleeve it could you make it work? I'm assuming they are going with that aluminum is soft so it won't hold up as well. Thanks for any info you can help me with.

Triton WC2-2 (double torsion axle).

I initially installed the 3x3 tongue hinge (removed from my previous Triton double) and used that for the first year or so. Towed it at least 4000 miles, no significant issues other than having to retighten the sixteen bolts. Once properly tightened, no further issues. 1/4” wall thickness aluminum for the extension section. I forget whether it was 6000 series aluminum

I eventually added 5x3 aluminum box section rails to lengthen and stiffen the WC2-2, and now I use the Fulton 5x3 tongue hinge.

My prior trailer was Triton Elite double, factory torsion axle and stainless steel bolt hardware.

I added a Fulton 3x3 tongue hinge, slightly modified with aluminum shim plates to take up most of the slack.
