Lightbulb Exhaust blow out during winterization

    HI all,

Quick question ~ After a fresh water flush, I used my electric leaf blower and shot air into the intake and into the flush fitting port to clear the exhaust system of water. The ski was not running at this point.

Should I be concerned with water backfill into the engine!? I only did this once.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

Don't know why this would be a survey?
    Year and model would help.
Intake? as in engine air intake?

If your concerned, just remove the spark plugs, crank it over and see if water shoots out. If not, install plugs, start it up, a few quick revs and blow any water out the exhaust.

You should be fine. I believe the manual says to blow the system out with 50-55 psi for winterizing

If you live where it's going to freeze just pour antifreeze in the flush port like the dealers do.

Thank you, after your post I cross referenced manual and that is correct!

Intake, I meant the intake grate.

Further research shows, no the engine does not need to be running in this case. Keep the 55psi as suggested and bingo.

I completed all suggestions today, thank you. No water, winterized with Non Tox antifreeze as suggested below. Thanks to all for the help.
