Jesus can help dial in any cam, doesnt have to be the riva. In fact the riva is alot more tame compared to Eastside and CRT.

I am working with a customer in the USA who is building his GTRX 230 over winter. Et137 wheel, full valve set, Aftermarket cam, Jim’s ride plate. Once winter clears we will datalog ski and dial in tune.

I am working with the guys at Maptun to help develop a few more tunes for the 230 ski’s seeing the library is pretty thin.

Cam will help across the board. Maybe a little rougher at idle. Did an Eastside regrind in my 230 and was a big difference. After several tune attempts Jesus wasn't able to get enough fuel out of my 48 lb. injectors. Switched to VT 1100's and all is good. Switched to a 300 charger and all is even better.

Think the newer 230's have 60 lb injectors so might be fine with a cam.

To add another viewpoint-this talk is for a 230 in a GTI hull-correct? Why would someone want more power in this hull? The speed of my stock '18 GTR-X is limited by the roughness of the water. The hook up of the pump is very poor compared to my '17 RXT and the ride is scary. To each his own I guess.

Try a Worx intake grate. It will tighten up pump loading very nicely

I have a 2019 GTX 230 with the ST3 hull, which is much better for more power than the GTI hull
