I'd check the Crank Position Sensor next. You can check it with an ohm meter. I'd check it when it will start, again after it will not, and compare the two measurements. It will typically measure near 150 ohms, 200 ohms is max per service manual. A defective CPS will not generate a fault code, so this does conform to your symptoms.
