    I'd check the Crank Position Sensor next. You can check it with an ohm meter. I'd check it when it will start, again after it will not, and compare the two measurements. It will typically measure near 150 ohms, 200 ohms is max per service manual. A defective CPS will not generate a fault code, so this does conform to your symptoms. We do have several other members from Australia. Perhaps they maybe close enough to provide some help. I'd suggest you update your profile to include your location.     Had same issue, swapped out plugs and found a bolt came out of manifold that holds on the cast collector. This was causing a light exhaust in the engine bay that would build up and change the air mixture.
