    Neutral switch Open or Closed

Hi, would anyone know if the neutral switch is normally open when the craft's lever is in neutral and is closed when put into forward?
Or is it closed in neutral position and opens when the craft is put into forward? Thank you

Hey, thank you for the quick response. I was able to put a meter on the wiring and your correct!

Do you know if the craft would operate normally if the switch is bypassed (Always Closed). Its for a friend's boat.
I can see it being an issue if your press the start button while engine on. Or starting it in forward with the accelerator fully engaged..
Trying to make it possible to drown mode it with 1 person instead of 2 people when out on the waters, in case the engine floods.

We can also add a switch to temporary bypass the switch as well..

Presently, when lever is in neutral, you can't fully open the throttle body with the accelerator lever. The lever won't move when in neutral.
We were thinking of bypassing the switch so it can be put in forward, lanyard gets installed, accelerator moves full forward to activate drown mode..
