    2002 Yamaha SUV1200 Fuel line

I'm want to buy a primer bulb for my 02 yamaha suv1200. But i'm not sure of the fuel line diameter, I think it's 1/4" id. I'd like to buy the correct primer bulb for the line. Thanks guys!

Dont put a primer ball in...its not gonna help.

Have your carbs rebuilt properly & it will start properly.

The carbs are good. I only have time to run it once or twice a month. it takes a long time to get fuel to the carbs after a long layoff. i don't want to kill the starter and battery.

You see those 3 caps to unscrew on the airbox? Unscrew them spray a bit of fogging oil in all 3. Turn gas on, pull choke 1/2 way, fire it up. It will start right up and immediately prime the fuel lines. That way there is no excessive cranking.

BUT...as Water Worx stated, if you have carb issues then that needs addressed. Your 1200 should start up normally within about 15 seconds.

A lot of people use primer plunger kits. And I think there is a reason why primer bulbs are not recommended for PWCs but that info escapes me at the moment.

Donít those carbs have accelerator pumps? If so, just pump the throttle a few times.
