The 2nd gen hull makes me want to wait for the RXT X revision before I build a motor now.....Maybe just some simple upgrades to hold me over until then instead of building the head in the off season as planned.....

St3 hull came out in 2018 you have 8 to 10 years until a new hull for the RXTX.

I don't think I'm willing to bet on 8 years this time. The GTI got it's first gen polytech hull in 2017. Models are changing much faster nowadays as far as design goes. The only things that seem to continue carrying over for several year models are the motors. Seeing that the GTX/RXT X refreshed a year after, seems to me that we should see a 2nd gen hull in a year or two.

Watching that video on how to fix the plastic hulls didnt seem like a positive. Yeah it was quick, but it seems to show how flimsy the plastic hull is. The thought that now seadoo will just send you a new hull has got to mean the production cost of the plastic hull is less than before. $2000. They send you a hull if the glue stick fix doesn't work. I'm wondering how the people with 2018 and 2019 models think about this new hull?

+Green Hulk Thanks for this post! I was wondering if you could just get the 130 and then tune it later. My question is though, if it's only $600 MSRP, why not just get the 170 vs spending $900 on a tuner?
