If SeaDoo produced a four stroke XPL, they could discontinue every other model because nobody would buy anything else.

I love the XPL and waited 10 years before selling one of mine for a RXP 300. While you might think that they would sell, the stats don't support you. Most buyers wanted something bigger and the XPLs did not sell well the last 3 or 4 years they were offered.

I love my XP DI and think its the best ski ever made, but I will say that the power of the 300 is intoxicating. There is simply nothing better than carving on glass with a XPL. Drop your knee into the tray and ride it like a sport bike,

I've always dreamed of an xpl with the 4tec, but I like to go long distances and the 4tec is just too thirsty. The ace would be nice, but maybe a bit weak. It'd be perfect in the x4. I love my xp and someday want to put the ace in there. I love the smooth and efficient reliability of the modern engines. The 2smokes are just too damn unreliable.

I loved the X-4 also. I had a 96 with everything on it. The XP-DI was just so much more fun. It had a Cut head, prop, sponsons, and a PPG program. 66all day. great on fuel. Started wright up. Just a fun as heck ski. I had a Coffman XPL also. It was amazing. Just the DI was nice.
I am just thinking for the kids as the Spark is so fuel efficient.

The fuel burn of a XPDI is so efficient. I was shocked to death by the burn of the 300. The XP or RX DI has the best range of all the skis.

Idk, I think the 4Tech 155 would give it a run for its money. I have 2 in my giant speedster 200, and I am amazed at how far I can go on one tank. My 15' challenger with the 185 super charged 4tech Burns a lot faster then the twin 155.
