    LinQ 16L Cooler (Black 219400964 / White 295100698)

    Hello,

Now when the Spark 2UP will be getting the https://www.brppac.com/brp-295100883.html I started too look at the accessories for it! I'm looking at these coolers:

    White: https://www.brppac.com/brp-295100698.html
    Black: https://www.brppac.com/brp-219400964.html

I really don't like the white one! I do believe that the Black one are intended for the skidoo's right? however it should fit just fine on the Seadoo's! But I guess it is not saltwater resistant ?

The white one is probably white for a reason... Like not heat up as fast as the black one in the hot summer sun etc. But in my opinion it will look horrible on the black spark! (Yes I'm all about the looks.. )

Should I get the white and make it black, or the the black one and try make it salt water resistant!?

    /Regards

I just found this kit: https://www.brppac.com/brp-295100751.html will it fit the "Black 16L Cooler" and make it saltwater resistant, anyone know ?

I guess that the bolts or whatever for the top/lid is not included.. But that should be possible to salvage elsewhere.. Or just put some oil/lube on them and live with it!

    /Regards

I'm 99,9% sure that the black one is already safe for marine use! let me show you why I believe so.

I did some comparisons between these LinQ accessories:

The fuel caddy is specifically made for PWC's (see link for more info) with that said, it should already be safe for marine use!

Here they are side by side.

    LinQ attachment side.

    LinQ attachment side (Cooler)

    LinQ attachment side (Fuel Caddy)

LinQ attachment side (Cooler) rubber safety thingy open.

LinQ attachment side (Fuel Caddy) rubber safety thingy open.

    LinQ attachment bottom.

    LinQ attachment bottom (Cooler)

    LinQ attachment bottom (Fuel Caddy)

    Bolt's at the bottom (Cooler)

Bolt's at the bottom (Fuel Caddy)

LinQ - Marinized Hardware Kit 295100751 (I know it is not intended to be used with the cooler..)

Close up on the unpacked (LinQ - Marinized Hardware Kit 295100751)

    Conclusion:

    Identical parts:

    - Bottom Bolts
    - LinQ long spring/bolt/nut/washer etc..
    - Nothing on the cooler or fuel caddy is magnetic..

    The different parts:

    - Handel (Black/Blue)
    - LinQ Handel fastening base (Aluminium on the cooler, Plastic on the Fuel Caddy)

So this is why I would say that the black cooler is marine safe!

    /Best Regards
