    PTO bearing placement

My first time using the forum so I might be wrong spot

I got 2013 sea doo rxpx 260 had cut driveshaft out and replace carbon seal and pto bearing. I was seeing if this is far enough on driveshaft I cant get it move anymore I haven't used mallet tap on it yet tho.

And when driveshaft was out there was no bump stop just little piece on driveshaft. I check inside where it slide with flashlight there wasnt anything there.

Pto bearing need to slide more towards the hat/carbon seal.
That groove on driveshaft should not be visible.

    It’s tight indeed.
You need to keep the bearing carrier extended and push the driveshaft through. Rather then try to slide it back when the driveshaft is already inside the engine.
I use the OEM tool for this.
Try to lube the shaft a little. Be carefull not to contaminate the carbon seal.
