Seadoo rxp 300 oil filter rings

Changing the oil for the first time on my 300.... itís a bit different compared to my old 215 that had a notch in the oil filter. This filter has some blue paint marks on it that line up but no noticeable notch... also it appears that the top O ring (skinnier) can be seen even when i push it in all the way and torq it.. the o ring isnít pinched but I can definitely see read all around the cap. Is that normal and is there any lining up needed for the filter cap or just push snug and tighten?
