    FX SHO or 310X

In a dilemma on buying a used ski. Looking at 2013 FX sho with 146 hours or a 2016 Ultra 310c with 28 hours. Any advice would be great.

Wow, totally two different skis! For starters, most know the 13’ FX won’t have any warranties are less it was purchased as a non-current a few years later and had a extended warranty purchased then. The 16 310X possibly would still have a warranty? I would check on that for sure. If it doesn’t maybe worth checking to see if you could purchase it. Gina owns a 16’ 310R and absolutely loves her ski 330+ hrs. Are you buying from a individual or dealer? Also depends on your budget end result maybe a deciding factor..

PS: Are you coming to Morgan City this weekend for the fall Mudbug?

Buying from a friend. Budget isn't a concern both of them are buddies selling there skis each are under 10k. I was wondering if the kawi could get a extended warranty threw kawi since the hours are so low. Unfortunately I cant make the mud bug. Wife and I both have to work. 330hours on the 310r, any piston issues or has it been problem free? Wife and I want something comfortable to go ride and not get beat up like with the RXP. My back and hips cant take that beating anymore (power lifting and MMA) has taken its toll on my body. I'm kinda leaning with the 310x since it has less hours. Just concerned bout the piston issues I've read about

Trouble free, but very well maintenance/serviced. It’s going to be hard to beat the overall comfort and ride of the Kawi, specially in choppy or rough conditions. Neither skis have electric braking or reverse so that’s not a factor either. More storage, power & comfort on the Kawi.

How often do you your kawi serviced, what's the procedure you do after a day of riding? Do you add octane booster in your gas while filling up? My wife really likes the Kawi. And I like the fact of it having less then 30 hours. I know the oil has been changed every 10 hours of use by 1 of the only watercraft shops on the MS COAST.

After the break in oil change 10-15hrs), after that I have changed the oil every 50 hrs (Kawi full synthetic) my choice and brand. I changed the exhaust filter, spark plugs, removed & cleaned inter-cooler, removed & greased idle pulley tensioner. After a ride itís always flush with saltaway (WD-40 while flushing for SC fogging), (Maybe skipped if all freshwater), cleaned & left with seats off to air heat out of hull before covering ski till the next ride.

How often do you remove the intercooler, and above said maintenance?
