    Msx 140 Throttle Bodies sync

Is there a way to tighten the butterflies so they all move at same time. I noticed the mag one slightly moves first then the next two any opinions?

I don't know that it matters much. The primary concen is slack through the entire throttle body shaft series to the TPS.

Unlike carburetors, Ficht throttle bodies have big holes through the throttle plates. so there is significnat air flow even when the plates are fully closed.

The Ficht engine is designed to run in stratified combustion mode until well into the mid-range RPM, which in the carb world would be 'very lean' but for Ficht is quite normal. A little extra air into one cylinder is not a huge concern.

What the EMM and the Ficht engine do care about is that the TPS signal is correct at idle, and then increases linearly with throttle lever squeeze right up to full throttle, where the TPS must deliver the 100% signal to the EMM.

At full throttle lever squeeze position the throttle plates should be held wide open against the stops at the same time as the TPS signal is at 100%. That gives you correct throttle lever response and full power range.

Read through the 92-98 service manual, it has a write up for synch for carbs, same layout as the throttle bodies.
