Triton single Trailer Step Protector / Bumper

Hi All - thought some folks might find this helpful after not finding much information on it myself. Problem is the raised metal steps on each side of the Triton trailer. I single-hand load/unload in rough water, and have scratched my hull pretty good on these raised areas when my SVHO gets pushed sideways. Worst one actually caused by the harbor master helping me load, but that's another story.

Thought about covering with foam, bunk carpeting, looked for something aftermarket, called Triton. Then came across some heavy duty rubber bumpers on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S4FNKAK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I installed two per step, so when using them as a step, my foot would be balanced.

A few pictures below. But drilled out some SS screw holes (11/64 for #10 screws), loaded them with loctite, and installed. Might have to go back and load up with epoxy later, but seem pretty snug now.

Both you guys get a cookie for good thinking! LOL I usually beach the ski on a sandy spot, back trailer in, and walk the ski on to the trailer.
