    2019 fx svho confusion

Seemed like earlier the Riva ride plate for the 2019 FX SVHOs was considered mandatory. Now it seems like the same plate is causing proposing. Am I understanding this correctly or am I missing something?

The riva plate lifts the nose up
    That is what causes porpoising
So you need to adjust that back out with shims

One should not have to shim anything - I put my stock plate back on - much better - safer ride. but a couple mph slower. I'm going to shim the entire plate - I tried the rear - same issue.

If I can't it to quit porpoising - I'm going to cut the extension off and retry

Some put up with it for the extra speed
    Others shim it out
    If you want speed
You need to be prepared to make adjustments
And you will gain the most
My sons fzs had a bounce at top speed when he was running 79mph
But it has gone now he is running 84

When I tried the 3 degree nozzle bored to a 87mm the ski did not bounce at all in neutral trim. It did loose 1-2 mph and handled a little different though. I would like try again with the 3 degree and a 1 degree wedge to see it it can bring back some lost speed without the bouncing issue.
