I consider rods and cranks interals lol

The riva vortech kits used stock 10.6:1 compression forged mtc pistons but stuck a spacer under the cylinders which is odd to me. They also ran on ms109.

The stx/sxr will probably take 5-10 psi with good fuel and safe timing on the stock pistons, more than that is asking for trouble.

That is what I'm trying to find out..... Top deck is definitely different and there is more engine compartment space..... Bottom half is what I'm trying to confirm....

I stand corrected, my bad Waz.

Looking back at the kawasaki website I can't find where it was at claiming to be a new hull. I think I mixed up the pages.

The kawasaki brochure specifically talks about a new top deck, not a new hull.

If you look at the rear of the ski from the side, the rideplate still has the goofy little ears on it like the stx did.

The nozzle looks like the shorter 300 style nozzle unlike the stx.

Makes sense..... Lot easier to keep the bottom design the same..... If they redesigned the bottom it would be an entire new mold etc..... I think it was the watercraft article that called the hull a 'hybrid'

There is no 2020 15F, just left over 2019's if you notice they are only 2019's

What’s strange is that we have a new model and not even a single review yet.

No review as no one owns/riding yet. Just K guys. I hear it is a dry ride compared to old 15F even with 4.5 more gallons. Handles a little differently due to higher seating position. Does not have adjustable bars unfortunately. If some of you rode one in 2014 (first 310's) with cam shaped grips it has those. The blue looks good though I wish they would have accented with green instead of red. Seats are nice. Glove box has a nice dry compartment for phone but rest is too small again.
So, many improvements but many missed opportunities as well.
    Nice ski.
And as said before it should not end up in the electrical dungeon or paint peeling shop or the nano wafer repair facility. There are very good things about owning a Kawasaki.
