I have a 2007 RXT with 52 hours on an upgraded stock SCer(RIVA metal clutch washers). I have had a rough idle misfire and lack of RPM's and slower top speed. I had it checked out by a local mechanic and he couldn't find any issues.

But I was reading through posts and read the 100hour rebuild or 2 years .this is due to the plastic cages holding the steel bearings on the Scer. Does the newer SCer (after 2007) have ceramic bearings? and do they still fall into the 2 year category for rebuild due to plastic cages getting brittle?

Does the x-charger have to be rebuilt within the 2 year protocol or is it built stronger?
