    Salt stains/circles

    Hi all,

Like some of you i only use my waverunner in the sea. Always after riding i rinse it of with water and dry it with a cloth. Now after some time there are some small circles of i think salt coming on the hull. Tried to remove them but didnt work. I saw a video on youtube from someone cleaning them with vinager.

Do you guys now if that works? Or do you have some other (easy) options?

    Kind regards,

    VXHOyamaha

Salt Away Cleaner. I would also use fluid film on all metal that touches saltwater. Even the trailer.

Vinegar and water mix 50/50 works on those stains. I have owned three black pwc and two black vehicles. It works for me on nano paint and any other painted surface.
Wd-40 or CRC on metal to prevent corrosion.

I applied CRC Heavy Duty Corrosion spray to the metal engine surfaces inside the hull. Not CRC 6-56, but the Heavy Duty spray. It leaves a yellowish film coating that slowly dries to very slightly tacky.

The Heavy Duty coating will not wash off with water exposure. I expect it could be removed with a solvent based product.

CRC Heavy Duty spray should also work well on the jet pump metal surfaces and the ride plate top, but I would not apply the CRC spray inside the pump where the water flows nor onto the bottom of the ride plate.
