Power valves cycling when ski off.

Please help. My Yamaha GP1200R power valves keep cycling even though it is trailered in my driveway. I had to disconnect battery. I searched the 'net and various forums and did not find any causes/fixes. And yes, the lanyard is NOT connected.
Note: This started after I trailered it (covered) 1,200 miles. I uncovered it when problem first started, thinking moisture may have got into kill switch or some electronics. I let it sit in the direct sunlight in Georgia for a month to dry out. I reconnected the battery, it stopped for a couple days, then started again.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

It looks like you ride on the ocean.

Mine had a similar issue - it might be corrosion in the power valve servo connector.

It looks and tests ok but isn't. I replaced with a marine grade fully waterproof three way connector and filled with diaelectric grease. No issues since.
