They certainly did fix the pump and that was long overdue. I gave no reference to the pump tunnel or the transom in my post. The former is more than adequate for Stage 2 speeds and the later can easily be fixed by someone like Dean.

On that we will have to agree to disagree. It's all one system and this isn't something that "can easily be fixed by Dean". He's not boring pump tunnels to 160mm, hes not boring transoms to 160mm. Dean's simply doing the best you can do with this setup which is to taper the transom from 155 to 160 to help with cavitation. The real fix or improvement is to do like the old FZ platforms and provide 160mm all the way through. Then things like a 162 prop and wear ring on these skis would be something fun, but until then we are stuck with what we got, which isn't fixed with a 155-160mm tapered setup.

Update to a post I made earlier in this thread.
Today I ran the fuel down until the low fuel indicator stayed on to see if the Protec extended nozzle would still keep the ski from not bouncing.
The ski finally started to feel like it was about to so I clicked 1 down from neutral and the ski felt planted again. Other than that the ski has no bounce with this nozzle setup in neutral trim.
Last week I asked Carl at Protec how big of order he would need to make another batch and he said 15.

I also tried the Lucky Cone with the Protec nozzle and it had a bad bounce with any amount of fuel.

    I believe $125.
If there is enough interest maybe Jerry or Riva can place an order.

I have 1 stainless fender washer under each bolt and still have about 2mm from plate to grate.

TJBrad04 said his Riva plate is flush to his Riva grate without washers. Hopefully he can post a pic of his plate and grate since he has no bounce and more speed than most others.

I just remembered that Dean's Team sell's a modified extended stock steering nozzle for $120 that might also work.

Mine is at another shop getting some electronics installed and haven't had a chance to measure and take a pic. I might be able to swing by tomorrow...
