Dropped a screw in the air vent pipe!!? please help

I was installing the bluetooth speaker system in my spark trixx and I dropped a screw into the air vent pipe that is by the top of the steering column. Does that pipe just drop in to the hull or go into the engine? Im nervous to start the ski.. lol thanks!

I would have to remove the whole top of the ski, damn spark has the worst access. Im positive the screw dropped into the hull dow that pipe. If the pipe just goes into the hull for more air I'm ok, because the screw is laying on the floor. I dunno

Yes they run into the hull, if you look in your side access panel you can see the air intake this then runs into the air box. It should just roll about your hull!

loose bolts often get wedged under the fuel tank, resulting in an eventual leak and then a kinda of a loud boom

    find it.

you don't want to know why I'm giving you this advice

ok thank you, Im assuming I would have to remove the whole top half of the ski to find it. searching with one of those extended magnets through the little opening on the side would be very lucky to find it right?

Go with the magent for a while splitting the hull is a bit of a pain but does have the upside of you giving the various clamps and fasteners the once over

by the way, if you do have to split the hull, take my little bit of advice.....

use some masking tape across top and bottom of hull for alignment and cut it with a razor where the hull splits.

"sometimes" getting the half's together will a slight misalignment will result in leaks

the tape method assures they go back together as close as possible to the original configuration

changing the oil filter is also a helluva lot easier when the hull is open
