Anybody Ever Have Their Oil Filler Cap Come Off?
I pulled the seat off one of my Ultra LXs yesterday and found a mess. Found the cap laying in the bottom of the hull. Checked the oil level and it was only about 1/2 quart low, so no problems except the mess.
It seems like you have to get the cap really tight, i.e. so tight you have to use tools to remove it.
Anybody else encounter this?

I like Mike.... have only had a cap come loose from
1. No Oring
2. I've not tightened it correctly
Other than that never in 12years on this platform have my oil caps come loose.
