2008 GTX Ltd Hood shock removal

Plan on doing a bellow replacement for the front hood shock since the bellows has a split in it.

I see pictures of the RXT's but those are different (shock mounts to a metal assembly that is bolted inside the hull).

On my GTX, the shock ends are round and go into a plastic housing like an eyeball socket.. On the end of the shock (lower part anyways), the end of the shock has a flat spot above the rounded end and I can put a wrench on that and it spins the entire shock rod and you can go all the way around.. so it's not a typical shock where attaches on a ball that is 90 degrees at the end of the shock..

Just need to get one end off to install the new bellows..

Looks like I can remove the bottom plastic "eye socket" assembly with three bolts on the top and I see one from the bottom side..

    Any clues?

    Thanks in advance!
