2019 GP1800R low rpm mode fuel?

Hey guys can anyone with a 2019 GP1800R shed some light on what the speed and fuel burn looks like utilizing low rpm mode? I was originally looking at the VXR/VX Cruiser HO as per my other thread, however a local dealer has a pretty appetizing offer on their last GP1800. I'm concerned about the fuel burn considering 91 octane isn't the easiest to find and I like cruising somewhat. Thanks!

How far do you hope to cruise on a single tank of fuel?

Low RPM mode (aka Learner mode) reduces not only the maximum speed and RPM but also the acceleration. It feels quite Ďlazyí. I forget what the top speed was (or even the exact max RPM) and I did not leave it enabled long enough to collect any sort of fuel consumption data.

Is 91 octane gasoline available to you on land, before each trip?

I'm just curious. What is your local dealer asking for the ski and where are you?

Earlier this week (Tuesday) I picked up a red/black 2019 GP1800R from my local dealer for $11,899 and it was out the door for $13,101. No trailer, ski only. My sales tax rate is 6.25%.

91 octane is available everywhere on land around me, usually 87/91/93. I would like to be able to get around 80-90 miles out of a tank without sucking fumes.

We left of at $13,500 out the door, the VXR is looking like it would be $11,500 out the door. Ski Only 8.625% tax

For what it’s worth, most in our group that have them cruising 5-5,500rpm @ 40-45 mph regular mode are good for 80+ miles on a tank. Usually seeing 5-5.1 mpg. Congrats on the new ski.

With only a single datapoint to go off of....my friend has a 2017 VX HO Cruiser and I just bought a 2019 GP1800R.

We both went on a ~1 hour river ride (all going fast) earlier in the week. He filled up at the gas station afterwards, took 5 gallons. I filled up in my driveway from a can that had exactly 5 gallons in it....Mine filled to the point that I suspect I couldn't have put more than another gallon in it. So the fuel consumption wasn't ridiculously different between them.

GP1800 in low rpm mode is no match for my EX, not even close. If you are easy and just cruising, the fuel mileage is not bad at all, and im sure you could get close to 100 miles on a tank.

5 to 5.5 Mpg is about all you can get at 5000 rpms cruzing and avoid full throttle starts on a stock tune ski.
