    Installing Trim on EX

    Hey guys,

I'm looking into installing a trim system on my EXR and pulling all the factory parts off of a GP1800R. Has anyone done this so far? I assume it can't be that complicated, just looking for some insight.

    Cheers

If you have "Ride" reverse , than yes you cam swap out the reverse only box for the reverse w/trim box.
    u will need 3 things..
You need 3 parts from any ride equipped w/trim::
Not the whole handlebar just the left hand control box.
You will need the pump nozzle setup from GP/VXR
    MOTOR ASSY.

The EX and GP have way different pump sizes. Im not sure this is going to work.

Gp's have diff pumps than the VX Ho Cruiser, but that did not affect the trim swap.
as long as the EX reduction and steering nozzle are the same size the pump mm size should not make a difference..
