Don't buy the cheap plastic ones from Ebay. Of the 2 I bought, the lever broke when I tried to "snap" the cable drum into it like the OEM.

And the 2nd one keeps popping out because it can't have the throttle cable locked in.

    JUNK

Aluminum finger throttles are much nicer. You might need to modify your cable to work though. Mine usually needs to have the cable shortened.

The easy "redneck" method is to tie a knot in the cable. It must be tied in a specific location so it doesn't prevent the carbs from opening all the way. Tie it right below the carb "drum" and make sure it doesn't interfere with the cable movement.

The proper method would be to replace the carb "drum" with a larger one.

True for what Xlint has said, John Ziglers finger throttle is known to work with the Polaris with no modification required.

Thank you everyone for the responses. I ordered a aluminum factory replacement for now. Will be getting John's in the future though.
