wear ring gap? how much?
hey guys, got major cavitation problems on my 00 GPR. PPK is on the way but looking at my prop with some feeler guages, i found that there is .010" clearance between prop and wear ring all the way around. Is that way too much? and is that one of my main cavitation issues?

This is quoted directly from one of Impros recent post>>>>
"The least gap between the impeller and the liner the better. .007-.010" per side is doing real good. If you get beyond .020" per side, you're losing efficiency and performance."
I would say your fine.

Is there supposed to be a gap at the back of the liner where the pump halves come together I have one, about an 8th of an inch. Just seeing how deep into this pump I need to go.
