Custom speaker pods 2010 rxtx

In between all the other mods and things that have been getting done with my ski I finally decided to work on making some custom speaker pods. My plan is to make a mold of them so I can make a few pairs and see how they come out. I wouldn’t suppose there would be an interest to have bolt on speaker pods that fit and look factory for these skis. Me and my buddy know knows fiberglass really well and can work with carbon fiber and Kevlar also. We plan to do a spark one next where it will hold 2 6.5 speakers and it will replace and mount to where the front diamond is.

I could if you had the stock 300 speakers so we could make a mold of them otherwise we would need to get a hold of a 300 ski to make one that looks good. Things are coming along for my ski and we are making pods first that fit the rxt or all the skis that have the same body style. I am molding them to have the same body lines and making it out of the same material as the ski. The outside of it will be black gelcoat. Here are a few pics just to show progress

Well progress has been going slow and me and my partner had a falling out that was helping me . So I have a bunch of fiberglass chemicals I’m going to need to figure out how to use . But here is what I got so far

Well I’m almost at the part where I have to make a mold using orange tooling gel and fiberglass .. not 100% on how to do it but YouTube has my back. Here is what I got so far it’s comming slow but I’m digging it
