ISO 2005 215 HP Sportster intake grate

As title states im looking for a 2005 215 Hp sportster intake grate. Is anyone familiar with an aftermarket intake grate and does anyone have any input on disadvantage/advantages to running a wedge in the pump on this plateform? Thanks for your time.

I don't know if there is an advantage or disadvantage to running one but I installed one in mine. Boat isn't done yet so can't say if it helps or not.

I put an entire drivetrain, harness, ecu, and jet pump from an 08 rxp-x into my 07 speedster. The engine was a little beefed up already with arp rod bolts and arp main bolts. The head has arp studs and flywheel also has them. I put the vts but have to modify the arm because it's too long. My pump already has a solas a stainless ring and the wedge was part of it as well. I made a dual exhaust for it and am missing the intake grate because the one from the rxp is too short. The boats use rxt stuff.

Well i ordered a intake grate for the 2012 260 hp speedster 150 part number ends in 1852 where as the 08 'tx ends in 1851 hopefully i got it right. Theres not alot of information out here on these boats. Your boat sounds like it gonna be a fun little ride. Do you got any pics of the dual exhaust?

I will post up some pics when completed. Hopefully by next weekend. Right now it's a mess.

I got that 2012 260hp speedster 150 intake grate in and was able to modify it to work with my 05 215 hp Sportster. So it does work if anyone else is having this issue.

any of the intake grates that have the wing set up like the 260 one will be slower on top end and not handle as well as the OEM grate that came on the 215 engine. It has no wings, just straight. I've tried several different intakes with the wings and again none as good as the oem 215.
I have a 215 engine with X charger, external intercooler, thru the tansom exhaust, catch can, R/D pump seal, 4" cold air intake to supercharger, rapid rising fuel regulator, etc.
