What did you name your PWC?

    Hello,
I'm new to all this with my first PWC and felt I had to name it because it's unlucky if you don't. (Watch Forrest Gump) so after many different names I came up with Eagles Wing because on our second ride My wife and I had a bald eagle fly over us. I think its cool myself

Anyone else name their boat, ski, PWC?

    Nick

I make sure my customers name their skis. Poseidon demands it.

Makes it easier for me when they have a pair of them to tell me which one is misbehaving.

Also helps me to learn a little about my customers

owning a vinyl cuttter, I often do it on the cuff if the ski is in for a big ticket repair

Forest Gump didn't invent that btw, it's been a tradition for as long as I can remember

Choose wisely as it is very very very bad luck to every change the name

Typically I'll do some cute graphic to go along with the name

recently a customer who loves the transformers movies went with "bumblebee", it was easy cause it was a yellow seadoo

Her husband went with Megaldon, and I found a scary shark graphic to go with it.

a guy that was really into guns had me do "Grin and Barrett"

Every boat and ski needs a backstory, great conversation starters at the slip

Be sure to have a proper christening, Poseidon prefers wine coolers or beer and not breaking the bottles

Pray for smooth waters and fun times as you do it.

    Its always a fun time

got lazy .... and just named mine the same name as the reg numbers.

But seriously (maybe not), boats - yeah, but PWCs - uhh???
The state of FL does not legally recognize my craft at night, and many other states countries have equal restrictions making it lesser than of a boat. Don't get me wrong ... I like my ski too, but being a boat owner, I just can't see something classified as a "personal water craft" having a name. It be like naming my other "PWC" Hobbie 16ft kayak too. Perhaps I could probably name all my personal flotation pool noodles too.
Relax - tongue-n-cheel fellas. Hey, is "squirt" taken ??

Okay, enough fun,,, now I'm being serious. "No" I won't name my PWC.

I never thought of naming my pwc until my son called it slimmer. Now that is what we refer to it as.

    Totally cool! (Thumb UP!)

Named our first ski “Dividends” cuz, we’ll, that’s what paid for it (tip: Buy HealthCare stocks and simply hold onto ‘em! (VGHCX, PRHSX, FBIOX, Huge Grin)!!!!!!!!!
