Ordered Fizzle Cooler, ok to run on Stock cooling until winter?

Just wanted more feedback. The elbow on the HKS cracked and I just ordered the Fizzle. Wanted to finish out the season before adding additional cooling. Will I be OK?

Also, I purchased a used Jim's FZR SVHO plate and didnt notice an improvement over Carl's modified R&D plate. I'm wondering if I shimmed correctly. I didnt use the stock spacers and put a washer in front and one in the back.

Yes you're good to go! It's easier to heat fade on stock cooling but that's the only real difference.

Ran stock cooling but drilled out x fitting ran fine. Went dedicated last night while doing engine cooling upgrade and added a strainer

What do you mean by drill out x fitting? Additional dump? Let me know the difference, I'm curious.

The 4 way fitting inside the hull that directs water from pump/flush fitting to the intercooler/engine/oil cooler. Its drilled out to be less restrictive

The dedicated line is very easy to run. Did it in 2 hours. Along with engine cooling kit. Made a good Difference and keeps engine and intake cool

You went dedicated to the intercooler only?

I have ran the stock cooling for two years now on my 16FZR. I don't see any heat fade with it setup this way but my water temps will only top out in the 80's....
