Too much fun at the Bug
As always, I had so much fun this year.
It's funny how you develop friendships through the forum but still haven't ever met those people in person. That's what the Bug is all about - meeting those people and seeing the guys/gals from the prior years.
Another thing the Bug does for me - puts the hobby into perspective. By that I mean I'm guilty of focusing solely on the holy grail of top speed and getting into tuning/testing mode for extended periods. For me, that lead to burnout last year and I basically parked my ski. The long, extended rides at the Bug reminded me that I need to do more pleasure rides - I can't tell you how much fun I had this weekend taking rides for hours and hours. It really recharged my interest in my ski.
Special thanks to all of those who made this possible.

very well worded Dave. I agree on the burnout on testing ans tuning......
I did not even radar run this year. I was just wanted to be there and mingle and Ride !!!
It was even better this year as more people attended and I was able to put a face to a screen name to more people. And I got to meet all the major Tuners !!! Way Cool !!!
FUN FUN FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very good point FB!I'm guilty too.I'm always trying little homemade mods to learn how to free up a fairly stock ski, when I should be riding more for pleasure
Now one more test after shimming down the 800 grate and I'm done
I am real sorry I missed the bug, with all the rain in my region work has been off,and a huge job came in at the last minute knocking me out.I do almost worship the forum and look very much forward to meeting everyone on here at some point in time.I'v never seen such a high caliber of wrench heads so devoted to helping each other. We are one fortunate bunch of speedjunkies, and I hold a soft spot in my heart for each and everyone on here!Last edited by H204YOU; 06-10-2007 at 12:17 PM.

David..you just like to be around men in shorts and no shirts.
Mudbug is what it is...I will go next time. I wanted to meet Hydro, Joe and the west coast gang basically. There's always another day...and there's no way I'm gonna go radar-crazy anymore.
