    2001 Polaris Genisis Resonator Delete

    Hey Guys,

Working on a Genisis and trying to delete the resonators i tried cutting the big tube per another thread I found but it does not work and can not get to the water box, there for im going to attach 2 tubes together, but i do not have the correct tools to measure the ID of the tubing so i can the right aluminum sleeve, does anyone happen to know what i need for the aluminum sleeve to do this? I have seen that it has an ID of 3 inches, but I want to make sure i get the right tube to do this,

Hey Dave, are you using the stock 2001 "rear exit" water box ?

I recently bypassed an 01 carbed exhaust. I used the water box from a Injected Genesis, but other Genesis use the " top outlet" waterbox.
I also used the "U" shaped hose that runs from log pipe to waterbox. This hose is 3 inch at both ends.

I did cut the original outlet tube where it runs up and down,as high as possible.
The PVC tube I found at Bobs shop .It fit a littte loose in the 3 inch hose, nothing a clamp didn't fix.
I recently went to Menards to buy some PVC and they didn't have anything to fit the hose. I'm guessing the piece I found is a rare 1/2 size- Grainger might have it.
I needed to bevel the PVC and factory tube to force the piece in. It is a tight fit.

The red 1200 exhaust water box is 2 3/4 inch. I'm pretty sure the hull outlet fitting on the Genesis is also 2 3/4-I know the Virage TX is 2 3/4.I ran 2 3/4 tube and elbows the entire way on my TX. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-2-75-...53.m2749.l2649

So depending on which waterbox you use, you might have to adapt from 2 3/4 to 3 inch.
