    Which way to flip ski?

I was wondering if there's any specific side to flip a ski back over after flipping? I looked all over the manual and there's nothing, I'm assuming intake side? So clockwise? 2019 FX SVHO if it matters. I know the chances of actually flipping it are slim but I'd want to know.

Is there a decal on the rear of the hull showing which direction it should be righted?

As per the above post, there *should be* and usually is a sticker on the aft hull that is correctly read if/when the craft is in a flipped condition.

That said, the correct direction should be: when rotated, the water box/lock stays at the lowest point throughout rotation, as to prevent sending water up the exhaust (not intake) system.

On modern Yamaha 4-strokes, yes I've observed clockwise on the stickers, because the water box being on the port side.
For 1.8L (NA & SC) engines, exhaust manifold also on the port.
In-fact, seems true even for the older MR1 engines, as the water lock also still on the port (although the exhaust manifold actually on the stbd).
Again, it seems the water lock being the pivot-point / overall rule-o-thumb on Yamaha.

Nope, I had read there should be one but there are none.

Yes, that is what I was assuming, water goes into exhaust if flipped. Waterbox is on portside.
