Question What has BRP improved on with iBR? Gen 1 - 3

I can't seem to find anything explaining changes with the module or the bucket design. Anyone have a better idea on what they've changed? I'm still running a gen 1 iBR and I have only had one fault due to a loose battery cable.

I know it’s a lot easier to work on, and remove the pump with the GEN 3 set up. I can leave the IBR actuator hooked up to the bucket, and still remove the pump.

    Main differences are,

Gen 1 was rotating style mechanism that sat upright-ish on the left side of the pump area in the hull.

Gen 2 moved to the front of the pump area, just left of the pump tunnel, and is a push/pull style mechanism and is a lot more compact. The bucket is basically the same as Gen 1 with updated brackets to work with the push/pull.

Gen 3 is the same as Gen 2 but with a new bucket design for better stopping and control, that mounts to the rideplate.

Each gen has little revisions and updates of there own but those are the biggest differences.

No, the gen 3 bucket mounts to the ride plate and the gen 1 uses completely different brackets as it works in a different way.

18 on the ST3 hull. I believe the other hulls still use the G2 bucket, could be wrong on that bit.
