Polaris MSX 140 Problem
Hello ,
I have a problem with my msx 140 of 2003,
the idle do not hold, lack of power, bad start, I started to do some test,
crankshaft sensor ok 151 ohms
tps sensor 700 ohms time sensor instead of 3000
can the problem come from there?
Sorry for the mistakes and thank you google translation ^^

The TPS sensor utilized on MSX140 cannot be checked with an ohm meter, such as the early year sensor.
Have you checked the fuel pressure? The fuel pressure regulator is notorious for falling off, inside the fuel tank on the direct injection watercraft. See this thread.

Hello ,
I controlled the regulator in the pump, it is well fixed, I still glued with glue bi component,
I noticed that the check engine light comes on when the engine is below 4200 rpm,
if I start and accelerate at more than 4000 rpm the light does not come on, if I let it go back to idle the check engine comes on

Below is an excerpt from the service manual of the EMM fault codes. The codes in bold print also initiate the SLOW mode, which limits RPMs. As yours are not being limited, you can eliminate those as a possibility. If memory serves me correctly, as I've only been on mine once, briefly, this season; I believe if the reverse mechanism is engaged it will also result in a flashing red light. You can simply unplug the reverse mechanism switch to check. There is also possibility you may have pinched/shorted the reverse switch wiring when you had pulled the fuel tank forward to reinforce the fuel pressure regulator (FPR). The reverse mechanism has some design flaws (see the stickies on how to correct) and all the MSX140s I've owned never came from the factory with the reverse cable length adjusted properly.
You can obtain more info on the fault codes here.

Crank position sensor should be 200 ohms max
