'00 Genesis FFI vent tube question

My ski has two small vent tube fittings under the very front of the front seat. Left vent tube goes to fuel tank, appears to be a breather. Right vent tube runs down under right side of engine to back of ski but does not terminate anywhere. Maybe I knocked it loose during recent rebuild but want to know if it fits into something. If it lays in the bottom of the ski and there is any water, it won't breath much if submerged. It's not the speedo pick-up coming out of the instrument panel, speedo hose is connected properly. I've looked at Parts and Service Manual and can't seem to determine to what, if anything, this small diameter hose might connect. Any help would be appreciated.

Just answered my own question, well, K447 actually answered it previously in the link above had I read before posting.
My previous acid-filled battery had a vent tube port to which this lone vent tube was supposed to attach.
I'll coil it up and tuck it out of the way now that I run a Deka Power Sports ETX16L Battery that doesn't require venting.
Thanks to those that feed this forum!!
