I tested the bored throttle body
Daniel sent me a 56 mm bored TB to test. Just looking at it side by side with the stock one is amazing. It looks alot bigger!
The ski seemed to accelerate harder and get to top RPM's a bit quicker, but as i suspected, there was no difference in top speed.
My A/F gauge was registering 11.8 this morning with the stock TB and 12.3 with the bored TB so it's definately getting more air into the engine.
Perhaps the results would be more dramatic with a 58 mm TB?

You forgot to post your top speed and how quickly you got there. Does this have anything to do with "the secret" which will be let out at a future date? Good luck testing the 58 and then maybe the 60.

Jerry isn`t 12.3 better than 11.8 AF? This was with stock injectors and RXP ecu correct? That would explain quicker acceleration...PR...
Jerry, what was you boost psi?

My top speed was 77.2, like i always run. I was able to run 78+ with that "other" part which has nothing to do with this TB.
I don't know how much quicker i got there because i dont have a Stalker ATS radar.
PR, yes 12.3 is leaner giving it better acceleration. Im running the RR ECU and stock injectors right now.

Heck that is great news isn't it? You have one more thing in your
arsenal. I see lower 80's in your future Jerry.

GH: what is your red line with the RR ecu? 8400? I`m just wondering if the RR provides more fuel than the RXP ecu...PR...
Did you test the AF ratio with the RXP ecu?

The rev limiter on the RR ECU cuts back at 8500 RPM's. You want to adjust your prop to run at 8400.
I never did test the A/F with the RXP ECU, but the RR delivers more fuel.

Jerry, have you decided on an unsafe limit on AF ratio? Blower motors definitely like to be kept on the rich side; certainly anything in the 11 range is safe, 12 too maybe, altho over 12.5 might be getting to where I would be nervous ... I wonder what Nitro keeps his Honda at or what he thinks is safe for our boosted pwcs?

I have been told by one person that 11.7 is a little rich and i should be at 12.3-12.4 while being over 12.8 is too lean.
Another person told me that 11.7 is just right for a blown motor.
I'd definatley like nitrosharks input on this.
