Gp1300 overheat with d-plate
Did some work to a customers '03 GP1300 efi. Seems to be running great and does not go into limp mode but randomly throwing overheat code. D-plate and 1kohm chip. I've read about others having this issue too. Do we need to put the oem sensor back in? Possibly a 1.2kohm resistor? Who has the answer?

Use a dental pick tool and pull the pins out of the connector that 'chip' plugs into and check they are clean, don't know if that's your issue but maybe worth taking a few min to check?
To pull the pins out, come in w pick tool from pin side. It's a little tricky w a pick tool but can be done, there is a proper tool for removing them (pictured)
