    Help please

Hey guys, I have 2 07' fx ho cruisers. I just had seat covers installed by a "professional" shop that completely butchered them. See pics. Take note of the small rear seat where foam is bulging the cover out in the front, wont even fit on ski now because foam was not seated correctly on seat plate, unreal! The small seats are so easy to do, I did 1 for them already, it fits perfect without stretching or staples, how you F that up. Anyways see pics

What I need from u guys is pics of how cruiser seats are supposed to look especially the clean staple pattern underneath.

I'm taking them back tomorrow and I want to show them how it's supposed to be and gonna ask for money back for installation and to replace seat covers cause they are ruined now.

And the charged $300 for both seats. I already removed old covers and staples and foam was in perfect condition. I also put on 1 of the rear seat covers that just needed stapling and trimming. I also installed 1 front cover and stretched it in place and put a few staples to hold it around the backrest. Looked great also. They just needed to finish it up. And still butchered the hell out of them SMH!

I did not do them myself because all I had was a T50 stapler (staples are too big) and said screw it I'll just pay the professionals. or so I thought.

Please help me out. I will really appreciate it. I made need them for small claims court as well. Thanks

Come on guys. Not one person can help me out? I know alot of ppl are going out today. It's easy to snap a couple pics and post. I really just need pics of staple line on bottom of seat. My original seat cover was so clean and neat it looked like stitching. Please help a brother out. I would do it!

I just wanted to show upholstery shop what its supposed to look like. But they refunded my money and payed for new seat covers without any argument. Was pretty hard to deny the butch job they did. But thanks I really appreciate it

Bill, I started reading this thread and looking at the pictures of that appalling work! Horrible, horrible work! I'm so happy to read that you were refunded your money and they paid for new seat covers!

Like most people, I've also paid for really shoddy work that I've had to come back and fix properly. I do all of my own work now. Even work I would really rather pay someone else to do. I just know the outcome by the so-called pros will probably not be to my liking and/or I'll just get ripped off by them.

Thanks danny... I agree 100%. I'm actually a mechanic and carpenter by trade, alot of years and time in both.

I dont ever let anyone else touch my vehicles or house. But this time being it was my second set of covers because I didnt like my color choices on first set (never installed) I thought I wouldn't take any chances and just let the professionals do it. Haha, boy was I wrong.

Just received 3rd set Friday, not in love with these either lmao, should've just stuck with light gray whole seat. But oh well I can live them now.

Got dark gray carbon fiber with a little black trim.
Already have staple gun and staples and will be doing these myself. Then I'll change to light gray next year Haha.

Been so damn hot here so when i finally get them finished I'll post pics. Supposed to hit 105 this weekend. So I'm not in a rush any more lol.

This seat ordeal started at the end of April haven't been able to use skis at all SMH! Got new ski covers, seat covers, dash bezel, impellers, oil, plugs, batteries and gas though lol
