Big shout out to this site!!

So being new to Polaris ski's I have been using this site to learn a lot. I attempted the fuel pressure regulator fix today on my ski's and man I'm glad I did. At first I was iffy on the fix, figured if the ski's were good all this time then maybe they are fine. Man was I wrong. Both pressure regulators were lying in the bottom of the fuel pumps! So finished up one ski and am working on the other. One issue I have and I hope someone on here can help me out. I got the second pump out of my 04 and when I removed the top piece with the 3 hose connectors from the pump, I found that the hole where the fuel supply nipple goes has a big crack in it. Been searching the web for just that part as the pump is still good and dont want to buy a whole pump just for that part. Anyone have a bad pump of just that part?

For some reason my phone is not letting me upload a picture. Post number 82 of the repair guide thread is a picture of the part that is cracked. Not the side that you have to tap, but the other side.

Where the arrow is pointing is the area that is cracked.

    Well, that is not good.

That part is really hard to come by. Not sold separately anywhere I could find.

Someone did, I think, post a link to a fairly inexpensive entire fuel pump (automotive?) that just happened to have the same plastic nipple part.

Otherwise you would be shopping for a Polaris fuel pump. If you can find an inexpensive pump assembly that is ‘not working’ you can harvest the piece from it.

Or find someone parting out any model of Polaris watercraft that had the Ficht fuel injection. The fuel pump is the same in all of them. Virage, Genesis, MSX 140, 1999-2004

Polaris carburetor engines have a completely different fuel pump system.

I'm sure I have one in a canister that I salvaged the pump out of for another member. It is at my warehouse. I'm usually nearby it at least once a week. Let me know if you'd like it and I'll pick it up on my next trip.

Most definitely if you have one. I managed to fix mine but would take it as a backup. I'll detail how I fixed it in another post.
