    Gauge display on Garmin 62cv

Has anyone found a way to enable to gauge display (RPM, battery voltage, oil pressure, etc.) on the Garmin 62cv on a Fish Pro or modified ski? It seems like this might be just the ticket:

Please share your experience with this or similar solutions.

Forget it, its NOT waterproof, so not good for a ski, its a Helm based product on boats and jetboats.
Page 20 of the downloadable manual right in your link shows how to connect and set it up for BRP engines, Plug it int the port, set 3 settings and your done.

The Garmin 62cv comes factory installed on the Fish Pro, so it has to be waterproof enough, all this does is add even more value, data and insight to what's already there. I'm seriously tempted to give this a whirl since theres not much else to do in quarantine... LOL

I think he meant the Gateway device is not waterproof

Check with Jason @ Epic Audio at Lake of the Ozarks... He has a modified BRP outboard gateway feeding the garmin on his RXT.

I guess I misunderstood him when he said "it's a helm based product"...

My mistake, the adapter is not waterproof, the Display is IPX7 rated so it should be fine. Just mount the adapter box in a dry location for connectong to the onboard systems.

Sorry for the confusion, I made a mistake.
