    Carb Wizards Help!

Rebuilding my 6 carbs (BKN44) and had 2 pilot jets screw in and out fine but at magnification I can see some damage at the top (maybe previous owner?). I took them to local service center and they told me both are fine to use still as long at the damage is up in the top. Can someone confirm that these are OK to use? I was having issues finding the Mikuni N100.606 jets without waiting a long time to order them.

They are ok for use now, but I'd want to replace them for fear of them breaking and not being able to get them out w/out a fight later down the road.
