    riva waterbox question gp 1800

    Hi i was wondering if once you install the riva waterbox if you have to strap it down as the original waterbox was.
    this is all on a 2018 gp 1800

    Yes, definitely use a strap. They aren't that heavy duty but they do the job. After a couple years they can get brittle and break but they are cheap to replace.

    You can use the original strap i just tied a knot in the middle of my strap and its really tight.

    I used the original strap with my riva box works fine for me, but have heard some have to twist or knot theirs.

    Looped line through the end and hooked it back shortened it up just the right amount.
